We are continuing or nomadic journey across America. Now into our 4th year, it has been a fabulous journey. From the heart of New England to the coast of Florida to the Mesa's of New Mexico and the deserts of Arizona, we have explored this vast country of ours.
Now, after all of that, we're returning to our roots and to Etsy. We are glad to be back and hope you enjoy our finds and our creations.

Frequently asked questions
How important is an accurate measurement? Can I guess?
Just as in any other garment, size is important. We urge all our clients to measure. Pick the spot where you intend to wear your garter, and with a measuring tape pulled snugly, BUT NOT TIGHT, measure your leg. That number is your leg measure. If your measurement falls between two whole numbers, round up to the nearest whole number. So, 16 1/2 would become 17. Please don't guess, measure. Correct measurement guarantee a proper fit.
I only see one garter in the style I like. Do you have more of them?
Many of our garters are one of a kind due to the fact we make them from vintage fabrics or trims. When a garter is a one of a kind, we will state that in the listing. When we make a one of a kind, we also list the size range it will fit. If you see something you really like and the size range isn't compatible, let us know, we may be able to adjust the garter or make something similar using our vast collection of lace, fabrics and trims.
Are bridal items or custom orders returnable?
Due to the nature of bridal items, they are not returnable. Neither are customized or personalized orders.
What if you run out of lace or trims for my garter or ring pillow?
WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO SUBSTITUTE PICTURED LACES FOR LACES THAT ARE AVAILABLE. SINCE EACH ITEM IS HANDCRAFTED INDIVIDUALLY THERE MAY BE VARIATIONS IN LACES AND TRIMS DUE TO AVAILABILITY. IF WE MAKE A SUBSTITUTION, IT WILL BE AN ITEM OF EQUAL SIZE, COLOR AND HIGHER VALUE . VINTAGE AND ANTIQUE LACES AND TRIMS ARE PURELY A MATTER OF AVAILABILITY AND WE MAY NEED TO SUBSTITUTE A NEWER, MODERN LACE IF WE ARE UNABLE TO FIND A SUITABLE MATCH. WE WILL MATCH FOR COLOR-EXAMPLE-IF THE ITEM HAS BLACK LACE, THE ONE YOU RECEIVE WILL ALSO HAVE BLACK LACE, BUT THE DESIGN MAY BE DIFFERENT. IN ALL CASES, IF WE SUBSTITUTE, WE CHOOSE A HIGHER QUALITY, HIGHER COST LACE.
I don't have a Paypal account or a credit card. Can you help me?
We accept Paypal and money orders, cashier checks and certified checks. Debit and credit cards are accepted through Paypal as well as directly through Etsy. IF YOU ARE PAYING BY MONEY ORDER, CERTIFIED CHECK OR CASHIER'S CHECK, WE EXPECT TO BE NOTIFIED OF THAT FACT AND WE WILL HOLD YOUR MERCHANDISE FOR NO LONGER THAN 10 DAYS. IF YOUR CHECK HAS NOT ARRIVED BY THE END OF 10 DAYS, YOUR ORDER WILL BE CANCELLED AND APPROPRIATE FEEDBACK WILL BE LEFT.

What are your shipping methods?
We ship within the continental US via US Priority Mail with delivery confirmation AND ARE INSURED UP TO $50.00. We make every attempt to ship your package within 24-48 HOURS of payment received. Custom orders will have shipping times decided upon at ordering.
We ship to the address you provide for us. If the address is incorrect or the USPS tells us the address is undeliverable, we will attempt to reach you by email at least twice. If we fail to receive an answer within 4 days, we will refund your payment and notify you that we have cancelled your order. We will not be responsible for shipments that have gone to an incorrect address.
International orders go by First Class or for an additional fee, Priority with a Customs form done clearly.
How quickly can you get me my item?
We never shelve an order. We go to work on them as soon as they are received. However, some months are busier than others during wedding season such as May and September and October. We make every possible effort to ship before our stated shipping date but no later than the quoted date. If, for some unforeseen reason, we are going to be late, we will notify you and set another date that is mutually satisfactory.
